This position can grow into positions such as Laser operator, Turret operator, Brake Press operator, Welder and shipper.
As a general labourer, you will wear many hats and have a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
- Grinding/cleaning metal parts
- Organizing the workplace
- Material handling
- Driving forklift
- Assisting machine operators

- Physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs.
- Reliable and dependable
- Good attention to detail
- Able to focus on tasks
- Quick to learn
- Able to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with shop tools (training will be provided)
- Forklift experience is an asset
Schedule
Day shift: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm
Afternoon shift: Mon-Thurs, 2:15pm-12:30am (4x 10hour shifts, afternoon shift premium)

We are recruiting for both our day and afternoon shift. Days are M-F, 6-2:30, afternoons enjoy 3 day weekends every weekend with our 4x 10hour shift schedule!

Reidco Metal Industries Ltd manufactures parts for a wide range of industries including trucking, military, electronics, resources and offers a broad range of experiences. Reidco is looking to hire Aluminium welders for full time employment.
You will be responsible for:
- Safe set-up and operation of welding equipment
- Ensure accurate output of parts meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Measuring of parts to ensure customer quality requirements are achieved
- Operation of equipment in accordance with Health, Safety & Quality policies & procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of C level certification with 1-2 years of experience
- Experience with Aluminum TIG welding technique
- Exceptional fitting skills for very tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Forklift experience is an asset
- We do in house CWB tickets and training, GMAW/GTAW
