Positions Currently Required
Reidco Metal Industries is looking for a production welder to join our amazing team! This is a full-time permanent role on our production floor; Day and afternoon shifts available. We offer a competitive wage, profit-sharing program, and a great benefits package.
As a production aluminum welder,
You will be responsible for:
- Safe set-up and operation of welding equipment
- Ensure accurate output of parts meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Measuring of parts to ensure customer quality requirements are achieved
- Operation of equipment in accordance with Health, Safety & Quality policies & procedures
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of C level certification with 1-2 years of experience
- Experience with Aluminum MIG/TIG welding technique
- Exceptional fitting skills for very tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Forklift experience is an asset
- We do in house CWB tickets and training, GMAW/GTAW
Schedule
Day Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm
Afternoon shift: Mon-Thurs, 2:15pm-12:30am (4x 10hour shifts, afternoon shift premium)
Wage: $27-31/hour
Reidco Metal Industries is looking for a Brake press operator to join our amazing team! This is a full-time permanent role on our production floor. We offer a competitive wage, profit-sharing program, and a great benefits package.
You will be responsible for:
- Safe set-up and operation of CNC Brake Presses
- Machine monitoring to ensure accurate output of parts that meet or exceed quality standards
- Measuring of parts to ensure quality requirements are achieved
- Operation of equipment in accordance with Health, Safety & Quality policies, and procedures
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Brake Presses
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawing specifications
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, square)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
- Forklift experience is an asset
Schedule
Day Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm
Afternoon shift: Mon-Thurs, 2:15pm-12:30am (4x 10hour shifts, afternoon shift premium)

Job Description
Reporting to the Engineering manager, you focus on running production parts. Setting up and running the machines and performing quality checks on all parts machined. Knowledge of good machining practices and multiple years of experience in industry are a requirement of this position. The successful candidate must be able to set up and operate CNC milling equipment independently. You must be able to read drawings and understand GD&T tolerances and dimensions.
Job Requirements
- Able to setup and operate a HAAS VF-5 Mill
- Able to setup and operate a manual lathe
- Machinist by trade
- GD&T Knowledge and experience
- Meticulously follow quality standards, including measuring and following sampling plan
- Ability to adhere to strict safety standards
- Able to lift 50lbs
- 3+ years machining experience
- Experience with SolidWorks, CamWorks or similar is an asset
Schedule
Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $27-32/Hour depending on experience

To the right candidates, this is the start of a career in metal fabrication. If you have little to-no experience, but a can-do attitude we offer training, a safe workplace, and the ability to grow your career with Reidco!
This position can grow into positions such as Laser operator, Turret operator, Brake Press operator, Welder and shipper.
As a production worker, you will wear many hats and have a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
- Grinding/cleaning metal parts
- Organizing the workplace
- Material handling
- Driving forklift
- Assisting machine operators

As a turret punch operator, your job consists of loading and unloading material onto the turret, loading and verifying the correct program and performing first-off inspections on parts to ensure conformance to quality standards. Experience running a turret punch is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate
We are looking for multiple operators, for both our day and afternoon shifts.
